Reasons why I shouldn’t be able to borrow cameras from the school.

Actually I was just making sure the battery was charged, and then I got a shot of a dark Illustration studio instead. It looks like a prison, haha!

I know I’ve fallen inactive… I’m taking care of a lot of general education credits plus my job which I’m not allowed to post the artwork until it prints.  I do post reblog a lot over here in between class, so check it out: http://www.tumblr.com/blog/bumbledoodle

So here’s a little taste of what I’m working on. I’m in Book Illustration, and we were pretty much allowed to do any sort of book we wanted.

Since I wanted something fun and different then the things I do for my job (Editorial can get gloomy), I wanted to do a children’s book. Since I’m AWFUL at creative writing, I’m doing a (Russian) Alphabet book for English speaking children… or something. I don’t know, haha! I’m just uncreative, and my professor really liked the idea gave me permission to do it.

Oh man,

I can’t say much about it, but I want to take out the time to tell everybody I FREAKING LOVE HISTORICAL ILLUSTRATION.

I can upload this now, because it’s in print now. :) This was for a article about how they want to bring back the (American) football team back to my University. I’ll have more sometime next week, unless the article I’ve been assigned to falls though.

Originally when I joined tumblr (which was just this summer, admittedly, so I’m a newbie still) I only expected to post my art and be done. I didn’t expect to want to reblog things and have non-art-related conversations with people… But I still want a tumblr blog dedicated strictly to my art, where it’s not going to get drowned out with re-blogged-cute-hetalia-crafty-fun. 

So I’ll be putting that sort of stuff over there and I’ll reserve this blog for art-related matters.
